Rebranding & Digital Transformation of the World’s Largest Innovation Fund

Project Catalyst is a world-leading decentralised grant fund dedicated to solving real-world challenges by connecting innovators with the Cardano ecosystem. As the Director of Marketing & Creative, I led the digital transformation and rebranding of Catalyst, evolving it from a complex technical process into an accessible, user-centric innovation engine.

The Strategy

In response to community feedback, I spearheaded the development of a high-performance web and mobile ecosystem. My team focused on reducing the barrier to entry for innovators by creating an integrated, intuitive filtering system for over 1,800 community proposals.

Beyond the technical build, I established new social pillars and content strategies to drive engagement and transparency across the fund’s lifecycle.

The Results

• Record-Breaking Funding: Successfully launched Fund12, resulting in 258 newly funded proposals, bringing the total supported ecosystem ideas to over 1,800+.

• Unprecedented Engagement: Achieved 100% positive community sentiment and record turnout for the Barcelona Launch Event.

• Conversion Growth: Drove a 22% increase in total proposal submissions compared to all previous funding rounds through improved UX and clearer messaging.

• Operational Reach: Directed the production of the Fund12 Report, providing data-led transparency to the global community.

Executive Deliverables

• Full Rebrand & Identity: Modernised the Catalyst visual language to reflect its status as a premier global innovation fund.

• Web & Mobile Development: Oversight of the end-to-end build of website, including a custom-engineered filter system for proposal discovery.

• Content & Social Pillars: Developed the strategic content framework to educate the community and increase participation rates.

• Event Strategy & Production: Directed the Fund12 Launch Event, including the "Highlight Reel," stakeholder interviews, and on-site brand activations.
